Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a skilled welder for a 3x12 night shift, focusing on repair and restoration of combustion components for power generation. You will perform manual GTAW welding on superalloys like Inconel and Hastelloy, using fitting, layout, and coldworking techniques to meet precise specifications.

Responsibilities include blueprint interpretation, surface restoration, and safe handling of materials with cranes and forklifts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of industrial welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing experience, or equivalent training.
Ability to pass welding qualification testing (Inconel GMAW 6G Butt Joint Open Root ISO).
Experience with fitting, layout, coldworking, and reading basic drawings and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform manual GTAW welding and restoration on combustion components per engineered specs.
Cold work and form superalloy components (Inconel, Hastelloy) to meet tolerances.
Interpret drawings and specifications to determine repair and welding operations.
Operate cranes, forklifts, and hand tools safely to move and finish components.
Maintain quality and productivity while supporting urgent production priorities.
