Job summary

CMI Group is seeking a First Article Dimensional Inspector for the night shift in North Phoenix, AZ. The role requires extensive aerospace experience with first article inspection, strong GD&T knowledge, and Hexagon CMM expertise.

You will work with dial bore gauges, Mueller gauges, indicator mics, and Sunnen gauges to verify critical dimensions. The position offers exposure to a fast-paced, quality-driven environment, with opportunities for growth and competitive pay in the aerospace industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years aerospace experience with first article/first piece inspection.
• Strong Hexagon CMM operational experience is required.
• Experience with dial bore gauges, Mueller gauges, indicator mics and Sunnen gauges.
• Solid knowledge of GD&T and tight tolerance measurement in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article/first piece inspections on aerospace components.
• Utilize CMM and hand gauges to verify critical dimensions and tolerances.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to manufacturing and QA teams.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain quality systems adherence.
