Job summary

Blanchard Machinery is seeking a Field Service Paving Technician (Night Shift) to install, service, and repair paving equipment at various job sites. After a one-week training, you will work night shifts Sunday through Thursday, with duties including diagnostics, maintenance, and customer support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, preferably paving/road construction.
• CDL and safe driving record; strong CAT troubleshooting knowledge.
• Proficiency reading electrical/hydraulic schematics and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on asphalt paving equipment in-shop and in the field.
• Execute planned maintenance and urgent repairs with focus on minimizing downtime during paving operations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Respond to service calls with urgency to support customer production and uptime commitments.
• Maintain detailed records of services and manage spare-parts inventory.
• Communicate status updates and repair recommendations to customers, supervisors, and dispatch.
