Job summary

Carolina Industrial Staffing is seeking a Sheathing Line Extrusion Operator in Lugoff, SC. The role involves operating an extruder and other equipment to manufacture high-quality fiber optic cable products, with attention to detail and efficient production.

The position is temp-to-hire, with a 6:45pm–7:00am schedule and alternating 36/48 hour weeks. Pay starts at $17.00/hr plus $1.00/hr shift differential, with a 5% attendance incentive on weekly gross pay.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and comprehend English for all plant directives and instructions.
• Must perform simple mathematics to understand process sheets and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate records of materials produced, scrapped, issued and returned.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate extrusion equipment and related machinery in the extrusion area.
• Set up and run multiple production lines; ensure quality finished product meets specs.
• Complete required paperwork and follow SOPs and process sheets.
