Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct healthcare services to migrants in CBP custody, including urgent and routine care across age groups. The role requires NP/RN licensure in the US, BLS, and experience with EMR systems, plus the ability to work with diverse populations.

Position involves night shifts and PRN coverage with the use of electronic communications tools, and adherence to SOPs and privacy regulations.

Qualifications

Must graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
Must hold current RN and APRN licenses in any US state.
Must maintain BLS certification issued by AHA/Red Cross/ISHI.
At least one year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family, emergency, acute, ambulatory, or public health medicine.
No gaps in clinical practice exceeding six months in the last three years unless explained.
Experience providing care to pediatric and pregnant patients within the last five years.
No healthcare certification or license restrictions or lapses.
Willing to undergo a federal background check.
Able to work with electronic systems including EMR and communicate via Outlook/Calendar/Teams.
Willing to use personal cell phone for timekeeping and communications.

Responsibilities

Provides direct healthcare services to migrants in CBP custody.
Documents health problems in the migrant EMR and initiates treatment plans.
Provides prescriptions for medications with US dosage equivalents.
Cares for all ages including pregnant patients and conducts prenatal and pediatric care as needed.
Coordinates referrals to offsite providers as required.
Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy of medical records.
