Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Exterior Aircraft Cleaner at PHX Airport. The role involves washing, waxing, and polishing aircraft exteriors to meet safety and cosmetic standards, with attention to ground-time efficiency and inspections for surface issues.

Ideal candidates are 18+, legally eligible to work in the US, and have 1 year of customer service and 1 year of cleaning/maintenance experience. Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
• 1 year of customer service experience
• 1 year of cleaning or maintenance experience
• Knowledge of the aviation industry
• Ability to access and interpret information on digital devices
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to obtain required credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority)
• Willingness to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean the exterior of aircrafts including fuselage, wings, and tail
• Use specialized cleaning products and equipment to remove dirt and stains
• Document cleaning activities and report irregularities
• Inspect exterior for damage or maintenance issues and report findings
• Follow safety protocols at heights and near aircraft
• Coordinate with ground crew for aircraft positioning and safety
• Comply with environmental regulations for cleaning solvents and fluids
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment storage
• Ensure appearance meets airline and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks on time
• Participate in training on new cleaning techniques and safety procedures
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
