Job summary

The role requires ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, with potential overtime in emergencies or when needed. Airport badges and FAA background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified and trained to operate the required ground equipment to reach the aircraft.
• Must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
• Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work overtime on short notice in emergencies or when operationally necessary.

Responsibilities

• Cleans the exterior of aircraft by operations such as cleaning the entire surface with cleaning compounds, polishing the surface.
• Removes exhaust stains, grease, grime, and dirt with special cleaning compounds.
• Washes the exterior belly and vertical stabilizer.
• Completes forms connected with work assignments according to established procedures.

Education

Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
