Mark's Feed Store in Elizabethtown, KY, is seeking a friendly Expo to ensure smooth kitchen-to-table service during dinner rushes. You'll coordinate orders, support the kitchen, and help deliver hot, well-presented meals to guests.

This role requires fast pace, strong communication, and teamwork; prior restaurant experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant is preferred.
• Strong communication between kitchen and front-of-house.
• Able to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
• Comfortable handling food and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming orders to ensure they are complete and accurate.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure all components of the order are ready for plating.
• Expedite orders by organizing them efficiently and ensuring they are sent out in a timely manner.
• Inspect dishes to ensure proper presentation, temperature, and quality before they are delivered to the table.
• Communicate with servers to ensure awareness of order statuses and special instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to troubleshoot and resolve issues with orders or ingredients.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and alert the kitchen manager when supplies are running low.
• Ensure that special dietary needs or guest requests are communicated properly to the kitchen.
• Maintain a positive and efficient working relationship with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
