Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is seeking a Housekeeping EVS Associate to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and aesthetics of hospital facilities. The role involves cleaning patient rooms and common areas, handling biohazard waste, and supporting a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication with staff and patients.
• Ability to read and understand material safety data sheets and cleaning chemical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and assigned areas to maintain safety and aesthetics.
• Disinfect, dust, mop, vacuum, and restock supplies.
• Handle and dispose of waste, including biohazard containers per policy.
• Operate and log equipment properly; notify repairs as needed.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and respond to inquiries from staff and patients.
