Job summary

City of Anaheim's Anaheim Convention Center seeks a Part-Time Cleaner/Setup Worker to perform cleaning, setup and teardown for events, including restroom sanitation and floor care across the facility.

This event-related role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays. The position averages 20 hours per week with no minimum guaranteed, and advance training will be provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; must be 18 years old.
• Ability to perform manual work and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow directions, read/write, and communicate effectively with the public.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring sanitation and presentability.
• Set up meeting rooms, exhibition halls, arenas, lobbies and other areas.
• Perform setup/teardown of tables, chairs, stages, and movable walls for events.
• Provide basic maintenance; empty trash and keep aisles clear.
• Clean interior and exterior surfaces; windows, doors, floors and elevators.
• Move and position furniture and equipment as required.
• Report safety concerns to supervisor.
