Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking an ED nurse for night shifts in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center. The role emphasizes direct patient care in a 52,000-square-foot ED with diverse caseloads and rapid, collaborative care by an interprofessional team.

The position requires RN with ED experience, a Nursing Diploma/Associate's or a Bachelor's in Nursing, and a commitment to patient- and family-centered care within a Magnet-recognized environment.

Qualifications

• Emergency Department nursing experience required.
• RN license and credentialing in Missouri.
• RN in current state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred for leadership/training roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Promote patient- and family-centered care in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to manage diverse medical needs.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medications.
