Job summary

UT Health Tyler invites a Night shift ER Registered Nurse to join our team in Tyler, TX. You will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population from newborns to elders, under physician orders and within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include ADN, TX RN license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, NIHSS) with orientation completion. Prefer ER experience and acute care background.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas RN license.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS required before end of orientation.
• PALS or ENPC required before end of orientation.
• NIHSS certification before end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Administers care to a patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric with a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.
• Prioritizes patient care needs based on assessment and nursing process to plan care.
• Delivers care consistent with physician orders and hospital policies.

Education

Associate's degree in nursing (ADN)

High school diploma or equivalent
