Job summary

Princeton Community Hospital in West Virginia is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for 7p-7a shifts. This full-time role delivers bedside care in a high-acuity ED, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

You will apply evidence-based practice, modify plans based on data, delegate tasks appropriately, verify care plans with the care team and families, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year of registered nursing experience.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient plans of care based on data and needs.
• Uses evidence-based practice to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and family.
• Provides education based on learning needs and involvement of family.
