Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts in the Emergency Department, a Level III trauma center serving 95,000+ patients annually with 24/7 operations.

You will perform patient assessment, care coordination and discharge planning, applying evidence-based practice and safety standards; new grads may enter the Nurse Residency Program for onboarding.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Oklahoma RN license currently in good standing.
• BLS certification required and maintained; new grads may enter Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/reassessment of health care needs for specified age groups.
• Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes: analyze assessments and plan outcomes.
• Implementation and Coordination of Care: provide nursing care with evidence-based practice.
• Evaluation of patient outcomes using critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge.
• Evaluate discharge needs related to plan of care utilizing available resources.
• Professional Practice and collaboration with healthcare team.
