Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a full-time night-shift housekeeper at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, CO. Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication skills to include differentiating color-coded labels and/or chemicals as well as following written and/or verbal directions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to meet the needs of the department.
• Demonstrated professional housekeeping experience. (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas using department cleaning procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Dispose of infectious waste and trash according to procedures.
• Handle and clean up emergency spills per guidelines and safety standards.
• Follow infection prevention practices including PPE use and hand hygiene.
• Maintain safety in work and storage areas.
