Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a general housekeeping professional to maintain the facility in a sanitary, safe, and attractive condition in line with Joint Commission standards. The role offers full-time benefits with a 5pm–1:30am shift, Fri through Mon, with pay based on experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting areas, proper disposal of waste, handling spills, and strict adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication skills, including differentiating color-coded labels and/or chemicals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to meet department needs.
• Demonstrated professional housekeeping experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas according to procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals per Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Properly dispose of infectious waste and trash.
• Handle and clean up emergency spills as per guidelines.
• Follow infection prevention practices, including PPE usage.
• Maintain safety in work and storage areas.
