AdventHealth is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor for the hospital housekeeping department in Texas. The role focuses on managing linen distribution, staff supervision, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, coordinating inspections, and addressing patient satisfaction concerns while coordinating with leadership for training and policy updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years hospital housekeeping or building maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices and safe chemical usage.

Responsibilities

• Manages clean linen distribution and tracks linen supplies.
• Supervises staff: assigns work, trains, hires, evaluates, disciplines, terminates as appropriate.
• Creates schedules and ensures adequate coverage.
• Ensures compliance with JCAHO, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards.
• Monitors and replenishes supplies; resolves patient satisfaction concerns.
• Communicates with team and leadership; maintains logs and reports.
