Job summary

AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, FL seeks a full-time hospital housekeeping associate for night shifts. Responsibilities include cleaning patient areas, stocking supplies, and maintaining infection control standards while utilizing the Bed Management system to support bed flow.

Qualifications

• Knowledgable in infection control and isolation procedures.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment and manage supplies.
• Able to read and follow assignments and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned patient and public areas daily, including trash removal.
• Stock paper items, cleaning solutions and supplies as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of infection control and proper equipment operation.
• Use Bed Management system to track bed flow.
• Handle cleaning/trash carts and linen staging for pickup.
• Dispose of normal and biohazardous waste.
• Clean and disinfect areas containing bodily fluids per standards.
• Document all work performed.
• Access ancillary units, restrooms, and offices.
