Job summary

National Jewish Health is seeking an Environmental Services Worker, Housekeeper for the Night Shift on-site at the Main Campus. You will perform environmental cleaning and assist with conferencing room setups to support patient and staff comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates may have healthcare or hospitality experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and a proactive, collaborative approach to maintaining a clean, safe environment in a complex hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Work Experience: Previous Healthcare or Hospitality experience preferred.
• Special Training, Certification or Licensure: None

Responsibilities

• Performs environmental cleaning functions for assigned areas including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting bathrooms and trash removal.
• Removes biohazard waste containers and follows infection control measures.
• Performs specialty cleaning tasks such as wall/window washing, vent cleaning and scrubbing.
• Notices potential problems and reports facility or equipment malfunctions and safety hazards.
• Aids coworkers with furniture setup for meetings and audiovisual equipment as assigned.
