Job summary

Alcami is seeking an Environmental Monitoring Technician I to monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing environments in a cGMP setting. You will handle air sampling, surface testing, gas and water analysis, and data reporting while ensuring compliance with internal SOPs.

The role emphasizes detail orientation, organizational skills, and the ability to manage large data sets across a fast-paced lab. On-site 3rd shift, Wed–Sat, 9:00pm–7:30am, with travel up to 15% to clients.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Experience with LIMS is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform air sampling for viable and non-viable particle counts and surface testing.
• Test facility gases and waters, including USP and Water for Injection.
• Incubate samples, read plates, and report results.
• Maintain documentation per SOPs and company policies.
• Escalate environmental failures to management.
• Support SOP revisions, investigations, deviations, and data trends.
• Assist with lab safety, inventory, waste handling, and cleaning of labs.
