Job summary

UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, CO seeks an entry-level Sterile Processing Technician to develop core sterile processing skills. The role is full-time, onsite, night shift (Mon-Thu 10 PM–6:30 AM) with pay between $21.49 and $27.94 per hour, dependent on experience.

Requires a High School diploma or GED, and within 1 year of hire, CSPDT or CRCST certification. The department emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely processing of instruments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Within 1 year of hire: CSPDT or CRCST certification from CBSPD/HSPA.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and clean instruments and equipment following IFUs.
• Visually inspect instruments/equipment before assembly and packaging.
• Sterilize instruments/equipment according to IFUs and verify indicators/labels.
• Document work performed using instrument tracking software or paper records.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
