Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Burnet, TX is seeking an Engineer Technician II to operate and troubleshoot purification systems on the night shift.

Responsibilities include starting, monitoring, and decontaminating equipment, sampling, filling, inspecting products, and ensuring safety and quality. You will work cross-functionally with engineers, perform PMs, maintain spare parts, and participate in process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus.
• Previous chemical handling experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of inventory management.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000.
• Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs.
• Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks.
• Commitment to operating safely and with the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Run purification systems under specific quality and engineering controls.
• Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment.
• Sample, fill, and inspect final products.
• Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis.
• Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product.
• Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards.
• Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal.
• Ensure on-time delivery of low volume products from make to ship.
• Propose and implement process improvements.
• Work with Engineers to run experiments, troubleshoot systems, create/update PMs and maintain spare parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
