Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD seeks an Engineer III for Boiler/HVAC responsibilities at Holy Cross Hospital. The role covers monitoring boilers, chillers, air handlers and related systems, with night shifts 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.

Qualified candidates will hold a Maryland Grade 1 Engineer License and meet one of several criteria, including extensive field experience or applicable professional credentials. Excellent communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

Maryland Grade 1 Engineer License is required.
MD Grade 2 experience may be substituted per listed options.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are expected.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain facility's boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps, and related systems equipment.
Perform all Maryland state codes require equipment daily testing and manipulations.
Make routine shift tours of facility's mechanical rooms.
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance as required.
Install, test, and repair equipment according to standard practices and safety regulations.
Change and/or adjust all equipment system related to maintaining building climate control.
