Exceptional Medical Transportation, part of DocGo, is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in West Berlin, NJ. The role offers full-time hours with night shifts and a competitive pay range of $22.50 to $29.50 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• NJ EMT State License or NREMT (minimum)
• Valid NJ Driver’s License (for at least 2 years) and an acceptable driving record
• Valid Provider BLS certification
• Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs. or more
• Must successfully complete the company's orientation and training
• HS diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.
• Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - shift schedule may vary.
• Remain up to date with current standards of care, equipment functions, and all licenses and registrations; comply with policies and procedures.
• Conduct yourself professionally with patients, co-workers, and the public; project a professional image.
• Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques and comply with state protocols.
