Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking a full-time EMS professional to perform pre-hospital and intra-facility transfer tasks. You will interact with patients and hospital staff, operate and maintain EMS vehicles, and replenish medical equipment as needed.

Requirements include EMT-B and Emergency Medical Responder licensure, AHA CPR certification, CT driver’s license, and the ability to act calmly under pressure. Great benefits and day-one health insurance are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EMT-B certification and Emergency Medical Responder license.
• AHA CPR certification and CT driver’s license.
• Must be able to think and act calmly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Interacts on a professional level with patients, families, hospital staff, general public and other public safety agencies, providing exemplary care and customer service at all times.
• Safely operates and assists in the maintenance of company owned vehicles as required.
• Replenishes medical equipment and supplies as needed.
