Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center EMS Hartford, CT is seeking a Full-time EMT-B to provide pre-hospital and intra-facility transfer care. You will perform tasks to ensure safe, efficient patient care and operate/maintain ambulances, while replenishing equipment and supplies.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, EMT-B license, CPR certification, a valid CT driver’s license, and the ability to stay calm in emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Maintain CE per local Medical Control Authorities and CT Dept. of Consumer & Industry Services.
• Licensed as Emergency Medical Responder, EMT-B. Current AHA CPR certification and valid CT driver's license.
• Must think and act calmly and quickly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, hospital staff, the public and other agencies, delivering exemplary care and customer service.
• Safely operates and maintains company owned vehicles as required.
• Replenishes medical equipment and supplies as needed.
