Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center EMS Hartford, CT seeks an EMT-B with a high commitment to patient care and safety for full-time night shifts. You will provide professional interaction with patients and staff, operate and support fleet vehicles, and ensure medical equipment is replenished and ready for use.

Requirements include a high school diploma, EMT-B license, AHA CPR, CT driver’s license with driving privileges eligibility, and the ability to stay calm and act quickly in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Continuing Education per local Medical Control Authorities and CT requirements.
• Licensed as Emergency Medical Responder, EMT-B.
• Current AHA CPR certification and valid CT driver's license with eligibility for driving privileges.

Responsibilities

• Interacts professionally with patients, families, hospital staff and public safety agencies, delivering exemplary care and customer service.
• Safely operates and assists in maintenance of company owned vehicles as required.
• Replenishes medical equipment and supplies as needed.
