Mount Carmel, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The role emphasizes safety, evidence-based practice, and teamwork, with accountable care delivery across the Nursing Process.

The position requires Ohio RN licensure and nursing education. New grads may enter a Nurse Residency Program; casual RNs require 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing school.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• For Casual RNs, 2 years of experience required.
• New graduates with less than 1 year of clinical experience will be enrolled in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care with emphasis on patient safety and evidence-based practice.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care for assigned groups using the Nursing Process.
• Collaborates with patient and family to develop and implement a plan of care including physical, spiritual, and educational components.
• Communicates pertinent information to the care team in a timely manner.
• Keeps patient and family informed and updated on care progress.
