Job summary

ProMedica's Monroe Regional Hospital Emergency Center is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join the night shift. Responsibilities include EKG, triage, venipuncture, and assisting physicians and nurses in critical care scenarios.

Must hold Michigan paramedic license, be BCLS and ACLS certified, and able to work flexible hours with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork. A comprehensive benefits package is offered by ProMedica.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced emergency medical technician classes and be currently licensed as a paramedic in Michigan.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs EKG, triage, venipuncture, wound care, and other ER duties as assigned.
• Assists emergency physician, RN or MLP with tests/procedures for critical patients.
• Collects and labels specimens, performs POC testing, and manages specimens per policy.
• Transports patients and provides post-mortem care when needed.
• Keeps equipment functional and stocks supplies in patient care areas.
