Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Lansing, MI is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department, night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) on a full-time basis. You will deliver nursing care within scope, assess patients, plan and implement care, and supervise supportive staff during your shift.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduate, Michigan RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS as applicable. On-call and weekend work are expectations for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS within six months for Critical Care, Emergency, and related units; PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient, document response to the plan of care, and take corrective action.
• Plan and implement the patient’s plan of care and provide patient teaching.
• Oversee ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
