Job summary

UC Irvine is hiring a Staff Physician to provide night shift care in the Emergency Department at UCI Health – Irvine. The role requires MD/DO with board eligibility in Emergency Medicine, California medical license or eligibility, and a current DEA certificate.

Applicants must be able to obtain UCI medical staff privileges. Responsibilities include compliance with all standards, required trainings, and proper documentation to meet Medicare regulations and the UCI Compliance Office.

Qualifications

• Must possess an M.D. or D.O. and board certification/board eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• California Medical License / license eligibility.
• Active and current DEA certification.
• Ability to obtain UCI medical staff privileges.

Responsibilities

• Night shift patient care in the Emergency Department at UCI Health – Irvine.
• Adhere to compliance standards and complete required trainings.
• Maintain proper documentation to meet Medicare and Compliance Office standards.
