Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center’s Emergency Department in Nashua is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 24-bed unit. This full-time night shift requires strong clinical decision-making as you assess and stabilize pediatric and adult patients with diverse illnesses and trauma.

You will join a multidisciplinary team and complete competency-based orientation to care for ED patients, including procedures like ultrasound-guided IV and arterial line management.

Qualifications

• Current NH licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN required).
• 1-2 years of experience in an Emergency setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implements priority-based nursing care and establish goals to meet the patient’s needs.
• Integrate patient values, best practice, and evidence into patient care.
• Engage patients and/or families in the care delivery.
• Delegate care activities to patient care team.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to provide the patient with comprehensive care.
