Job summary

Flex is hiring an Inspection and Repair Operator to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and document electronic assemblies. You will set up workstations, perform in‑process and final inspections, and record data in shop floor systems. The role requires attention to detail and collaboration with production teams.

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 11pm-7:15am – 3rd shift. High school diploma or GED required; IPC or electronics coursework preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting manufacturing instructions, work orders, and drawings to ensure product compliance.
• Inspecting electronics assemblies and components to identify defects per workmanship standards.
• Basic computer skills for data entry in control systems and production tracking.

Responsibilities

• Set up stations with the correct inspection documents and visual aids.
• Perform in-process and final go/no-go inspections on electronics and subassemblies.
• Perform touch-up and repair to meet electrical and dimensional specs.
• Record inspection data in shop floor systems and communicate quality concerns.
• Collaborate with production teams to address process issues and drive improvements.
• Document workload and track number of products inspected and rejected.
• Operate inspection equipment to detect defects and ensure quality.
• Maintain accuracy of documentation and records.
