Job Overview

Inspector/Auditor – 3rd Shift (11:15 PM – 7:15 AM). Responsible for the inspection process and verification of component dimensional, visual and associated specification compliance. Maintain inspection records and component lot traceability.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits of machinists following internal processes and procedures.
• Use microscope to determine or validate small features on products.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and interact with employees in a positive manner.
• Apply current procedures for component processing during inspection.
• Inspect, record, and maintain inspection and material verification records for purchased and PCB produced products, ensuring compliance with drawings and applicable specifications.
• Generate, update, and maintain quality control documentation such as Discrepant Material Reports, department procedures, customer and supplier product certificates, and traceability records.
• Maintain inspection software and ensure records are accurate.
• Ensure inspection equipment is within calibration due dates.
• Maintain department for acceptable internal and external audits.
• Maintain records and reports associated with the certified operator program.
• Perform other related duties as directed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 1 year of inspection and audit experience in a production environment.
• Problem‑solving skills.

• Blueprint reading skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• BOCES machine shop classes or skilled trade school graduate.

Physical Demands
