Job summary

Shearers Foods in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Fort Worth Plant, night shift 6:45 PM–7:00 AM on a 2/2/3 rotation. The role focuses on setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment in a continuous improvement environment.

You will inspect equipment, perform preventative maintenance per manuals, diagnose malfunctions, and perform a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tasks.

Qualifications

• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent教育.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical skills and PLC experience.
• Ability to work within an integrated operating enterprise and manage priorities.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems and replace/repair parts; verify proper operation.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
