Job summary

Dematic in Memphis, TN is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 to perform day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on Material Handling Equipment. You will work on site at the Memphis location with a rotating night shift 7:00 pm–7:00 am, and occasional weekends.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2-3 years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational training preferred.
• 2–3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Experience with material handling equipment and preventive maintenance is desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking and component replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to diagnose circuitry.
• Create and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
• Troubleshoot problems and determine resources needed for resolution.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment faults.
• Maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
