Job summary

Nature’s Bakery is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background to join our Salt Lake City manufacturing team. This hands-on role emphasizes electrical systems, controls, motors, and equipment troubleshooting on high-speed production lines.

You’ll work the graveyard shift, 12-hour nights, and collaborate with Operations to minimize downtime, perform preventive maintenance, and support PLC-based controls in a fast-paced food production environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with motors, sensors, switches, and production equipment.
• PLC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and components on high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Troubleshoot control power and main power systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, sensors, switches, controls, and other industrial components.
• Identify motor frames, power requirements, and amp draw.
• Use voltmeters and amp meters to diagnose equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical functions throughout production equipment.
• Support PLC-based equipment and controls; PLC experience is a plus.
• Perform soldering and other electrical repair techniques as needed.
• Work safely around energized equipment and follow all electrical and industrial safety requirements.
