Job summary

Charter Wire is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will work the night shift from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM (Sunday night – Thursday morning) and help ensure continuous operation.

Requirements include 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or a related technical degree or journeyman’s card, plus the ability to read schematics, apply electrical theory, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience OR technical degree in a related field OR journeyman’s card.
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and code books.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, controls, and codes.
Experience with line setups, inspections, and electrical testing equipment.
Solid math skills (fractions, percentages, measurements).

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Diagnose and resolve issues using blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to keep production running efficiently.
Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
