Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift (7p-7a) with weekend and shift differential eligibility. The RN provides comprehensive nursing care, delegates to LPNs and UAPs, and performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Department operates 24/7/365 with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN degree required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient needs; plan and document nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implement and evaluate care with a multidisciplinary team; adjust plans as needed.
• Lead process improvement and contribute to quality and efficiency in patient care.
• Ensure safe and high-quality nursing practice in a 24/7 Emergency Department setting.
