American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with dual adult and pediatric ED background for a night shift. The role requires an NJ or compact license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS, and at least 3 years in ED.

Expect high-acuity patients, triage duties, and complex line management in a STEMI/Stroke-certified facility. The position features 3x12 hour nights, a 50‑mile local radius requirement, and travel-friendly benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and online

Qualificações

• Active NJ or compact RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years Emergency Department RN experience.
• Combined Adult and Pediatric ED experience required.
• Strong EKG/dysrhythmia interpretation and management experience.
• Experience with arterial/central lines, IV meds, and telemetry.
• Experience with sedation, analgesia, and emergency medications.
• Pediatric and adult ED care experience including trauma and neurological events.
• Must pass tele strip/cardiac assessment test during orientation.
• Valid references and certification copies required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care in a combined Adult/Pediatric ED with ~25 rooms and ~135 visits per day.
• Deliver rapid assessment and stabilization for STEMI and stroke-certified facility.
• Manage ventilated patients including intubation and BiPAP/CPAP support.
• Perform triage, procedural sedation, and ED hold patient management.
• Work night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM; every other weekend; no inpatient float.
• Use Epic charting system for documentation and patient care coordination.
• Residence within 50 miles required for local candidate consideration.
