Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EMT-P training course required by state.
• 1 year pre-hospital EMS experience preferred.
• Certified Paramedic (ADHS or state) required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides and collaborates direct patient care under licensed supervision. May include personal care, vital signs, IV initiation, phlebotomy, urine catheterization, and patient transport.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition; maintains medical records for care delivered.
• Addresses questions from patients and families; may answer patch phone after training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
