Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ seeks a Night/Evening Manager for ED Nursing Services to oversee nursing staff and daily operations, ensuring safe, patient-centered care and coordination of clinical and administrative functions.

This leadership role requires a nursing degree, RN license, and 2–4 years of leadership experience, with preferred Bachelor's degree. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in a closely related field is required.
• 2-4 years of leadership experience preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse licensure required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of ED nursing services and staff.
• Ensure patient care aligns with standards and regulations.
• Conduct staff training, orientation, and evaluations.
• Delegate tasks and ensure accountability within the team.
• Maintain accurate documentation per guidelines.
• Foster a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff.
