Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Distribution Specialist II for the Small Chassis line in Portland, TN. The role involves handling customer orders with care, using RF scanners, and operating motorized equipment to load, unload, and locate inventory efficiently.

Candidates should meet efficiency standards, have a high school diploma or GED, and be willing to lift up to 50 pounds, follow instructions, and maintain safety and accuracy on the warehouse floor. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must currently be meeting departmental efficiency and DPM standards.
• Must have no active warnings (within the past year) on file.
• Ability to pass the motorized industrial equipment test and obtain license.
• Ability to use RF scanners.
• Ability to lift, pack and stack up to 50 pounds in proper manner on a sustained basis.
• Detail oriented; able to differentiate part numbers.
• Ability to use a utility knife and tape gun.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic keyboarding skills.
• Meet safety, accuracy, productivity and housekeeping minimum standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a multitude of functions for the safe, accurate, and efficient fulfillment of customer orders for timely delivery.
• Use of motorized industrial equipment to load and unload trucks; transport and locate materials; pick and put-away product; replenish picking locations.
