Job summary

Dorman Products in Portland, TN is seeking a Shift 2B - Distribution Specialist II Small Chassis (4PM-4AM, Thu-Sat) to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. The role uses motorized equipment to load/unload trucks, transport materials, pick and put away products, and replenish locations.

Requirements include meeting departmental efficiency standards, no active warnings, RF scanner proficiency, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Must currently be meeting departmental efficiency and DPM standards.
Must have no active warnings (within the past year) on file.
Ability to pass the motorized industrial equipment test and obtain license.
Ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) scanners.
Ability to lift, pack and stack up to 50 pounds in proper manner on a sustained basis.
Detail oriented.
Ability to Identify and differentiate part numbers.
Ability to use a utility knife and tape gun.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic keyboarding skills.
Meet safety, accuracy, productivity and housekeeping minimum standards.

Responsibilities

Perform a multitude of functions for the safe, accurate, and efficient fulfillment of customer orders for timely delivery.
