Job summary

Verland in Monaca, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team as a full-time DSP for the 11pm–7am shift, Monday through Thursday and Saturday. This role supports residents in daily living skills within a safe, caring environment.

No prior experience is required; two weeks of paid training will be provided. A background check, physical, and drug screening are required. Competitive benefits and ongoing career development are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Background, physical, and drug screening required.
• Experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support the lives of residents while maintaining a safe environment.
• Encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs and record observations and daily progress notes.
• Plan social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals and housekeeping duties.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bathe, dress).
• Medication administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
