Maple Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a full-time night shift Cook for our Kingston, PA facility. The role involves preparing meals per health regulations, reviewing menus, and ensuring meals are appealing for residents.

An ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and Serve Safe certification; long-term care experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Supervise, coordinate and perform functions under the Foodservice director in accordance with health regulations; must relate positively to residents and families; must meet health and background checks.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Long term care experience preferred.
• Certificate/Licenses: Serve Safe Certificate.

Responsabilités

• Prepares food in accordance with health regulations and policies.
• Reviews menus, production guides and facility diet guidelines.
• Ensures food produced is appealing in accordance with cycle menus.
• Assists in the ordering process by taking inventory of food and supplies.
• Follows directives of the department director and maintains professionalism with staff.
• Ensures meals are palatable and appropriate for residents' needs.
• Uses standard recipes and follows menu extensions.
• Participates in preparation and distribution of resident snacks.
• Maintains and records food temperatures and follows HACCP guidelines.
