Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Diagnostic Imager II for night shift in Elko, NV. The role requires ARRT in Radiology and CT and graduation from a Radiologic Technology program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiology and CT.
• Night shift availability.
• Able to prepare and administer contrast media.
• Maintain patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures in accordance with scope and standards of practice.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered.
• Monitors patient condition and respond to changes as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies, select exposure factors and imaging parameters, and ensures compliance with safety standards.
• Performs quality control checks on equipment; troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports malfunctions as necessary.
• Positions patients and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyzes results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results accurately.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provide quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
