Job summary

T.G. Lee Dairy is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to care for and maintain our production assets and facilities.

You will ensure continuous operation of machinery across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigerant systems, performing planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment and utilities. Qualified candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, 1 year with PLC/HVAC, and are able to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility.
• 1 year minimum experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC and HVAC.
• 1 year minimum experience on equipment including lubrication, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control and packaging equipment.
• Professional experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
• Ability to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems and take corrective action.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment with moderate to high noise.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for all property and production assets to ensure continuous operation.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems.
• Work in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic capacities as required.
