Job summary

Campbell's Indianapolis is seeking a Cycle Counter to maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse. You will perform daily cycle counts, research variances, and log data in SAP and JDA while coordinating with production and warehouse teams.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years in warehousing, ability to operate material handling equipment, and willingness to work the 3rd shift with overtime. Pay is $21.40/hour plus differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and/or two years of warehousing experience.
• Minimum of two years of warehouse experience.
• Experience using JDA or a similar Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Ability to become certified and safely operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to use computer systems to enter and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work the third-shift schedule and mandatory overtime when required.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment where noise levels are moderate and temperatures may fluctuate with seasonal conditions.
• Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and maintain timely and accurate inventory for products throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete data entry and file maintenance in SAP and JDA.
• Research, review, and explain inventory variances and follow through on corrective actions when appropriate.
• Complete MUV research and reporting as required or requested by the Accounting department or Inventory Manager.
• Report Peco inventory weekly and provide explanations for identified variances.
• Maintain organized files and documentation so records are readily available for review.
• Follow documentation procedures in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and other company procedures.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and other manual and automated material handling equipment.
• Transport stored materials and products throughout the warehouse.
• Support inventory activities involving packaging, film, condiments, trailers, and finished goods.
• Use computer systems to enter and maintain inventory records.
• Follow appropriate safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and personal-protection procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including keeping aisles and exits clear and storing supplies in designated areas.
• Follow safe lifting and carrying procedures and identify and report defective equipment.
• Report job-related injuries to supervision.
• Support and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 5S: Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
