Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking a cut-up line employee in Fresno to sort products from packaging lines and place them into appropriate packaging that meets quality standards. You will upgrade substandard product through salvaging techniques for reclassification.

The role requires standing most of the shift and lifting up to 35 lbs. Tasks include rotating through all positions on the cut-up line and using small tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hrs on a concrete/metal grate floor.
• Must be able to use small handheld tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting; and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sort various grades of product from packaging lines.
• Place into appropriate packaging meeting quality and product specifications.
• Upgrade product that does not meet quality standards through salvaging techniques.
